there's not a darned thing wrong with these pins. they're great for lighter-weight materials so don't expect to pin heavy thick fabrics with them. I like that there's so many! no complaints here.

Perfectly good

These are by definition "Dressmaker's pins," also known as silk pins. I used them for holding together the right sides on a beautiful pillow that I am making, and they worked just fine. I like the box they come in, too. It stays closed when I need it to, so that makes it easier to use the product, and it makes me more likely to buy it in the first place.

Nice & Sharp

I desperately needed new straight pens so when this offer came around I took it. They are nice and sharp which is essential when pinning patterns to material. Being dress maker pins they are a little longer than the average straight pen, too. The packaging is secure, and they were sent and arrived ahead of schedule. I threw away all the old, dull, bent sewing pins I had so now I have a nice new batch ready to go....
