Very comfortable from the get go. From the reviews, I took a gamble and ordered a sz 7, and that was perfect. Normally wear a women's size 8.5 wide and these fit great which I believe is men's sizing, and is fine as long as they fit! I ordered two pairs as I have to wear all the time in the house or my feet are too painful so I have a pair when one is being laundered. Hopefully they'll hold up! They were delivered in a day!

Ordered these through the mail and looked forward to them coming in the mail (mailbox), I did not buy them for ankle support, but because they had no backs and with swollen ankles and feet they adjust nicely, I am not sure what the soles are made of but I do not think they are leather soles, the wide size and adjustability are great for feet that swell, and they keep my feet warm in a drafty old house in subzero weather, I have even run out to the mail box and for that short distance they kept my feet warm enough.

I really like the looks of these slippers! I was so disappointed when they were too large and don't come in a smaller size. I would buy them in every color. I couldn't tell if they would be comfortable if you wore them all day, but they were just walking around. The price was excellent too.
