Corelle Kyoto Leaves 16-Piece Square Glass Dinnerware Set (Service for 4)

I really like the design of these Corelle dishes. I love the shape and the weight of these dishes. They are beautiful. The one thing I would like better, is if the saucer size was smaller. The dinner plates are regular sized, but the "dessert" plates are almost as large as the dinner plates. I like the bowls. They are the perfect size for snacks or desserts, (like puddings or fruit salads, etc. The larger bowls are great for cereals or soups, etc. I like the fact that there weren't cups or mugs, because we don't drink hot liquids very often. I have hot chocolate mugs that I use when needed, but we don't drink that with meals. I thought they were pretty expensive for the amount of dishware that came, but I liked the design and know that they'll last many years. I decided that it was alright to spend a bit more to get the design that I liked. I like that you can microwave these dishes, and they can be cleaned by hand or dishwasher. I think they look elegant. The square shape is unique and a nice change from our old circular dishes. Since it's just my husband and myself, daily, four of each plate and bowl is perfect. When we have family dinners, I use my China dishes. They are exactly as shown.
