This is not a leotard you could use for an actual competition or even for a class. This is a cheap, thin material. See through. I got this so that my daughter can play at home. She is 9 and I ordered two sizes bigger, it is still small. If your child has a short abdomen, it would probably fit fine, my daughter wears sizes 10-12, that's what I ordered, too short still. She will have to wear shorts with it anyways or we would all be seeing right through it.. it's very pretty for play dress up, but professionally I don't think it is up to par.

returned to the walmart store in my area because there was no elastic on the top of the suit so it wouldnt fit on. upon returning the item to my local store the customer service guy there very rudely shoeed me how "obvious" it was to call the company for my refund not the store, even though its on the walmart website, they have to keep up with amazon, he continued and then showed me the phone number of the company to call and shoed me off with tears in my eyes. then i get outside feeling dumb and belittled and call the bumber of the company ...it doesnt exisit. so whos the dummy now and more importantly if the walmart store took my return, then they shoukd at the least know who and how i get my refund .
