This is a very stylish hood. We chose not to have it vented, and it works great. It really tied together our new kitchen. I've used the hood several times searing steaks with just the charcoal filters and didn't set off the smoke alarm! The integrated lighting is the perfect color temperature, around 5, 000K which is what we went with for the rest of our kitchen design. Install was relatively easy the directions were good, has not fallen down on anyone's head and I don't expect it to. The satin stainless is easy to clean, and we get many compliments on it from friends and family alike. If I was ever getting a kitchen I would highly recommend this model for price and value.

I am doing a kitchen renovation and my dad helped me install this a few weeks ago. The cabinet prep took some time, because he had to remove the bottom panel of the cabinet and make some extra holes in the cabinet so that the air could recirculate (non-ducted). I also made a small design to use it non-ducted, but with a short duct that goes out at the top of the cabinet, that way I didn’t have an exposed/visible hole in the cabinet and I could also still use some shelf space. Other than that, the installation steps were easy to follow, the lights are bright, I love that I can change them if need be. On the video I have the hood on the lowest setting which makes some noise but that I can still hear conversations, on the other two higher settings it can get a little loud, but I personally don’t mind. I think it’s a well made hood and I also love the fact that it gives me space to work when cooking.
