This is a nice blanket. It's soft to the touch. The knit form adds a little bit of extra weight that plush blankets don't usually have. The feel of the knitting reminds me of blankets my grandmother used to make. I could cozy up with for hours. This blanket is absolutely lovely.

So far (brand new out of the bag) I'm seriously impressed... with everything. The weight and warmth is substantial. The yarn is thick- but not too chunky. The knit is just right. Not too loose. The deep wine color compliments velvet texture and amplifies the rich luxurious look of chenille. Its absolutely beautiful. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed. Way nicer than I expected! The knit is soft, cozy, and great quality—warm but not too heavy. I got it for my wife while she's been staying overnight at the hospital with me, and she loves it. Looks and feels much more expensive than it is. Oh and the color is beautiful for fall!
