New Lenovo IdeaPad 1i 15.6" FHD Touch , Intel Core i5-1235U, 24GB RAM, 1TB SSD

purchased on Feb 13, 2026. unit failed by April 8. 2026 - the hard drive failed, should be a simple fix. Sent the unit back to Lenovo, they refused to honor the warranty and it was sold to an Authorized reseller in a different config that what we purchased from Walmart. After waiting @ 20 days for Lenovo to refuse repair. We then sent unit to All State (square trade) which is the company responsible for the extended 3 yr warranty that we purchased... they had the laptop for 2 weeks, before they reported the unit was not repairable... (just a hard drive, why ?)... now they want to refund the purchase price of the laptop LESS the $80 we paid for the extended warranty.. Lenovo is a reliable laptop, but this SERVICE repair was far less than acceptable. The laptop was less than 60 days old... now we don't have anything, and if we attempted to purchased a new laptop, it will cost over $100. more than the original..... not a happy customer. The time we lost dealing with Lenovo and AllState was RIDICULOUS..... not a customer friendly experience... and WALMART was their hands of this purchase after 30 days..... absolutely NOT acceptable.
