The design is aeshetically... smooth, sleek and pretty. Easy wipe clean exterior, though it states you can quick rinse exterior. Milk does stick to the interior non-stick coating bottom when steaming and foaming, so it takes more than a rinse to clean, but not bad. I have a little nylon brush that came with another steamer, and it works well. A silicone badting brush works fantastically too. Both non acratching to the interior. It steams the milk fairly quickly and well, but the Latte Art setting, the dry foam doesn't pour anywhere near as cleanly or in a stream, as shown on the demos, or not as consistently. The microfoam promise, even when I pour the steamed milk into a small dedicated separate foam pouring pitcher, doesn't pour well. It does end up very creamy topped and microfoam is well incorporated also into the body of the steamed milk. It runs very very quietly. The touch screen controls are varied and exceptionally easy to navigate and use. Very responsive to touch. Overall, this steamer is my favorite so far of the 10 or so models and brands I've had. It arrived well packed and arrived on time. My one and only -not happy with this- issue, is that they chose to place tacky sticky info labels on the stainless collar trim. After a time consuming job of getting the label and glue off, a yellowish stain, the shape of the label remained underneath it. It tookgentle baking soda rubbing...patience and crossed fingers, and now I have clean shiny stainless trim. Hopefully some day a different adhesive and different placement will be implemented. Overall though, I gave it a four out of 5, and it's an excellent choice.
