Just the right part!

Part fits and works perfectly. :-) I had to supply my own mounting bolts not a problem. The device is well made I am confident that it will function for the life of the car. German (VW) engineering made it a bit difficult to access/remove the defective unit since the screw heads were on the back side against the trunk sheet metal.

Good quality bargain price

Low price for a quality part. Like another review I had to exchange the end cap where the cable end snaps into and use alternate screws to mount it to the bracket. Probably something like #8 sheet metal screws worked perfectly. My shipment arrived 2 days later than estimated at order time but I saw a disclaimer warning that USPS was running a little behind. Blame the Covid!
