Beautiful but it sheds

The rug sheds so badly! I have to constantly pick up loose strands, and huge clumps of black fibers that just fall off of the rug. We have a coffee table over it and its in a room we dont walk through, so this is really unfortunate. The rug is GORGEOUS and so soft, but the quality is awful.
