Ceiling mount works well!
This mount surprised me as an option. My father-in-law has a large, cavernous area in a wall that a regular mount from the rear would not work in. These large areas were prevalent in the 1990's in which to house a cabinet and CRT-tube style TV. The ceiling mount was perfect. Yes, the TV sticks out over the walls a little bit, but it looks good, and he can now see his programming. We got him a 65" TV. By the way, hardest part was making sure I found the stud in the ceiling. Get a good stud finder.

Easy to install, & great flexibility with viewing angles. Luckily my tv had the proper hardware for attaching to the unit, but they provide ample hardware, just in case. Ceiling amount worked great for positioning my pavilion tv out of the reach of any potential weather.

It works. No issues on installation, just take your time and look through it all. Seems pretty heavy-duty, just make sure you mount the TV centered on the rack to prevent any horizontal tilt.
