Jute is a heavy weight upholstery fabric made using soft and shiny fiber that is spun into coarse and strong threads. This fabric can be used to make pillow covers, bed runners, table runners and table covers, bags, curtains, chair coverings, carpets, area rugs and various other home decor applications. It is a dense woven fabric, has been historically produced as a coarse fabric, but more recently it is being used in a refined state known simply as jute as an eco friendly material.
