I used this product a little differently, and I'm hoping my review might be able to help someone in a similar situation. My son decided to come a bit earlier than his due date, as prepared as I was there were still some things I would have liked to have on hand. Unfortunately, I don't have a support system for my breastfeeding journey. No one in my family and none of my friends breastfed, so I was relying on google and social media for answers and help. Upon coming home, with the lack of sleep and being first-time parents, I was struggling with his latch, and I wasn't sure he was eating enough because he would cry so much. The next morning, I decided to collect my colostrum and feed him that way so I could confidently know he is eating enough. Since he came early and I was still missing some essentials, I didn't have anything to do this. I needed something right away, and a lot of small syringes and colostrum kits would take a few days to ship out. I found this product with same day delivery, and being desperate for something asap, I got it. I didn't see anything online about using this product in this way, but I figured it should work the same way, it's a small childs syringe with a bonus pacifier tip. What could go wrong? Nothing! IT WAS PERFECT!!! Exactly what we needed. I was able to hand express colostrum into a small clean cup, pull it in the syringe, and baby boy took it right from the pacifier tip without any issues. At his first appointment, he had no weight issues and even the pediatrician was impressed with the idea and didn't see any problem with it. My milk came in a few days later, and I'm not using this product anymore, but at least I have it for later. It was so easy to clean and use too. You don't necessarily have to use the pacifier tip either, but it's a nice attachment to have. I recommend this product all the way!!! Sorry for the long story review, but being a first-time mom with lots of questions and not having a lot of people to talk to all the time, it was posts/reviews like this that really helped me.

Bought for my grandson. How convenient this is! Def recommend if your newborn/infant needs to take medicine but you have a hard time getting them to take it.
