Genius
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may be hard for something to understand my obsession with blackout curtains. If you have ever worked a night shift and had to sleep during the day, ever had a massive migraine, live in a city that's super bright, or just like to sleep in then you probably understand. These are actually pretty cool blackout curtains. They are designed similar to the old fashion blinds that you would pull down with the cord and then use the same cord to release them. Think old school map from elementary. They provide a great level of sun blockage. Though due to the design they do not roll all the way up when open. Overall to me the benefits outweigh the negatives of this product. I'm going to buy more for the house.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's plain, clean, and classy-looking, and it also provides the blackout action we needed for one of our front windows. It always got too hot in the front closet because our old blinds didn't cut out enough sunlight. This shade, however, does exactly what we need. The temperature has dropped in the closet, and it looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting blackout shades for my bedroom for a few years now. When fall hits here and the leaves fall off the trees, the street lights always shine in my bedroom windows at night and I have a hard time falling asleep. I didn't want blackout curtains because I like the brightness of the daylight/sunlight during the day. I installed this shade on the window for the side I sleep on the most. It was easy to hang and I was actually able to do it myself. It's just a few screws. I love that there are no cords or strings to get tangled. The silk material is nice and so much better than the old type of vinyl and plastic. I purchased a 2nd on for the other window in the bedroom and am very pleased with them.
