Clean griddle top Remove loose rust with a scraper Wash surface with soapy water, rinse, and dry Apply Griddle Top Restorer Cover rust affected areas with generous amount and spread with applicator pad (include the sides) Allow Restorer to sit for 5 minutes Agitate Restorer with applicator pad Repeat step 3 (2-times) For stubborn rust repeat Steps 2 and 3 Use Blackstone's Degreaser, Griddle Seasoning, and Griddle Spray to condition and protect your griddle top.

Rusty Griddle Restored!
When I opened my Blackstone for the season, I was very disappointed to find it was all rusted and flaky. After contacting support, I was recommended this product to restore it. At first, I was wary from the other reviews but decided to try anyway and repair myself. It was a long process and required a lot of elbow grease, but I was able to restore my Blackstone back to its original glory.

Will it ever work?
I have gone through the process on the box 5 times now..... it has worked in some areas but not others. I am getting so fed up with it and am going to see if there is anything else I can use to get the rust off. I want to use my griddle to cook!

Most times this happens, you are not using enough elbow grease. On really rusted tops, it will take quite a bit of work to get the rust off. We would love to help. Send us a few photos, and we can offer other tips as well.

Doesn't Do What It's Supposed To Do
Judging by the other reviews, I apparently am not the only one who is extremely disappointed in this product. I went through four "agitating" cycles where I scrubbed furiously with the pads provided, after letting the griddle sit for five minutes with the gel substance supposedly "working" on the surface. I applied the gel substance three separate times - used about 3/4 of the bottle. Still rusted (although not as bad), but the surface looks NOTHING like it looks in the picture on the box, which shows the griddle looking essentially brand new, and ready for conditioning as if it is a new griddle. Don't waste your money.
