Purchased relaxed fit 5 pocket jeans and relaxed carpenter jeans. Best fit in the industry!

Stylish

These shorts have a dressy look and a quality feel. Only thing missing is a 5th pocket for your cell phone.

Same fit I remember, different fabric.

These shorts have been hard to find for years. I finally found them and ordered in my size. They are almost like the two pairs I've had (and worn frequently) for FIFTEEN years. I rotated the two pair to get the most life out of them. The front closure (on the classics) was a metal hasp-type. These new shorts have a button-type closure...nbd. The front pockets are of adequate depth and both back pockets now include middle top button for closure. Although the shorts are "relaxed" fit, they don't seem quite as "airy" along the thigh as the "permanent-press" Dickies of the past. Still, these Dickies Khaki shorts (made in Nicaragua) seem to be of good construction and the 60/40 (cotton/recycled-polyester) fabric nap is very similar to the material of my reference Dickies. I look forward to many years of use from these shorts. Hopefully I will be writing another review in about 15 years. 'Til then, work as hard as your clothes do: Choose Dickies.
