Not what I needed

I was hoping this would be good for a stray cat I've been feeding. I should of read the ad better because it does states it turns off after 8 hrs. Well for an outside cat in USA Maine, I need it to stay on continuously so the water don't freeze. Another problem I had is it states it is rechargeable. Figuring each day I could recharge it and put it back out. It has to be plugged in all the time to work. Cord does not detach from warming plate and isn't designed for outside use. the paper that came with the warning plate states that it's a cup warmer. Bowl that comes with it is a nice ceramic bowl and this unit would be perfect for keeping soup warm. Seller was very responsive in resolving. Wish I could of made use of it but wasn't quite what I needed for outside use.
