Apple Forest

My property is often populated with browsing deer who eat fruit tree leaves in particular. I have planted apple trees often with no success because the deer browse off all the leaves. I will plant apple trees in hard to reach spots, and give some a start in a greenhouse to let them get size, so they will decoy the deer away from my Gala and Arkansas black apple trees which will be double fenced. The purpose of these apple seeds is an orchard for the deer to eat from. A co-worker of mine did that with her vegetable garden and she did have much better survival in her garden when the deer had their own patch. And fencing helped.
