It does exactly what's it's supposed to do. The only thing is that if the mouse's tail is too long, it can get caught on the latched side. I wish that the trap was designed to prevent that.

I had a well made snap trap set for a week and it did not trigger when the mice would eat the bait. So I bought this instead and I caught a mouse within hours. I'm honestly relieved that the other one didn't work, because I would've felt awful seeing the little guy dead. It's super easy to use and the trigger is gentle and effective. Now to figure out where to put the mouse...

At first it didn't work but I figured out what the problem was if they have another food supply and you haven't cleaned it up they're not going to go inside of that little trap just to get a little almond or something I baited mine with an almond and I made sure there was no other source of food that I had a problem that they had gotten into something else and had other food well once I took that away boy I caught four mice back to back in one day excellent product hopefully it holds up
