It does exactly what's it's supposed to do. The only thing is that if the mouse's tail is too long, it can get caught on the latched side. I wish that the trap was designed to prevent that.

I have trapped about 5 mouse's already with this trap, it's amazing! I don't have the heart to kill them they are living animals and I'll just realize them outside, I just don't want they bite my food! I've caught many live mice in this trap. I've had best luck with a piece of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies as bait. I check the next day (don't forget - you don't want it to die in there) and if there's a mouse, I release it away from the house.
