These are the best marshmallows. I did not specifically buy them for the vegan aspect but they are great. Similar to the ones I love at Trader Joe's. They aren't sticky and gooey like a traditional marshmallow. They are fluffy and airy and perfect for a little sweet treat.

Good Veg*n alternative to marshmallows

I'm a longtime Vegetarian, and regular marshmallows contain gelatin. So I use these every year in my Cornflake Wreaths. Because of their small size, they melt more quickly than the larger variety. I've had them as a snack and in hot cocoa before, but mostly just use them for the cookies.

I'm not vegan, but I was curious. I'm shocked how similar these taste to non-vegan marshmallows! Very strong vanilla flavor, and a bit chewier than you'd expect. But if you gave them to me blind, I would just think they were normal marshmallows that were a few days old.
