Instructions
Pour Dr. Elsey’s into a clean litter box, using half as much as you would with a clay based litter. Top off the Dr. Elsey’s with the litter you are using now, mixing as you add. Give your cat time to get used to the crystal texture. Once your cat is used to the crystal texture (about one week), empty the litter box completely into the trash, and refill with Dr. Elsey’s., Additional Instructions: Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination. Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid. Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Best litter for my asthmatic cat!
My cat is a senior, and has asthma and allergies. This is the only litter I use. It is almost completely dustless. It is non-toxic silica sand. Unfortunately, Bean came to me fully declawed. Before I knew she had asthma, I used a perfumed clay litter. I did worry that it was uncomfortable for her feet to dig through it. With her health issues uncovered, I looked for a better option and found Dr. Elsey. Because it is not harmful to her, or to me, I feel very confident in using it. I like that they changed the packaging from boxes to still recyclable bags.

No dust, no smell. What more can you ask for?
This litter has less dust than any other litter out there. Both Lovey (my cat) and I truly appreciate that. We have not had a problem with odor either. She is a 17 lb cat and I replace it every 10 days because I like things ultra clean. I stir every time she urinates so dust was a problem with other litters. We are so spoiled now that we wouldnt use any other kind. Get a bag and try it.
