Cal Lighting 60W X 3 Kirkwall Metallantern Floor Lamp With Fabric Shade

This is a nice lamp with a mid-mod look. A couple of notes: the shades are plastic-backed so not a lot of light shines through them. The light shines up and down. Not a criticism, just a note that the light from this floor lamp will illuminate the nearby area, and not throw a lot of light around the room. Works for me because I've got it in a corner next to my armchair. One of the shades arrived with a crease and was promptly replaced by Lamps Plus. I have been very satisfied with the sales, shipping and customer service in all regards from Lamps Plus over several purchases. One request from Lamps Plus: Please pressure your Chinese suppliers to stop using the horrible styrofoam that breaks into tiny pieces and scatters everywhere, in my house, in the environment, etc. Some of your suppliers use a small amount of styo, with air bags and cardboard and this is MUCH preferred. Vast quantities of disintegrating styrofoam are terrible for the environment and a major hassle to clean up in my house. It is impossible to even take this cheap disintegrating styrofoam to the recycling center because it crumbles when touched. Awful.
