I bought this to protect and isolate an expensive stereo amplifier as it was recommended by the amp designer. Solid well built unit. It does have a slight hum under load.

Really great product.
I purchased this to use in my Audio (audiophile) system. I have my entire front end connected and the Noise floor has been lowered, grounding is superior, no more cheater plugs. The music sounds more like music (not hi-fi) with a blacker, quieter background. The ability to resolve detail is enhanced. This works better than my line conditioner. I have ordered a ISO1000 to plug my integrated tube amp and HTDV in.
