The reason I bought this brand was because good housekeeping said it was a good air conditioner so far I've only had it in for a few days but it's very very quiet that keeps the room real cool so right now I'm satisfied with it And it also has a washable filter which I like that

Great Unit and Helps Save Money

Unit was a little challenging to install, some miner aggrivations , no condensation drain or option of a connector , then again maybe it is supposed to hold the water. Doesn't tilt as much as I wanted to have the slope it instructs. Other than the confusion and trying to install as I have other units it has worked great and allowed me to keep the remainder of the house warmer at night in the summer to save energy on the central HVAC, AND it seems great on energy too vs my other past units ( I should test it....maybe later). Really was happy with the price and how it keeps the bedroom just the right temp. we have a 12 x 16 ft bedroom and ensuite in the hot south and it's great. met our needs and saves energy for us, love it!! Packaging could improve a bit, it was dented a bit.
