Orthene is most definitely thee best product to eliminate the fire ants/ black sugar ants and the small roaches. I also have the liquid gallon spray. I'm speechless at the results so I had to share it for others with a pest issue cuz no matter how clean I keep my home they still find a way to get in. For faster results mix with sugar, place in small pieces of foil, bottle tops or cut up a paper plate. If you have small children please place completely out of sight. Also mix %26 place when kids aren't home because the powder one has a strong smell which will subside after about an hour. Please read the instructions thoroughly.
