Air Hogs RC Rollercopter, in color Red or Blue

I'm not a "flying a helicopter in my house" fan, but this is way cool. I charged the Rollercopter for about an hour. Six AA batteries in the controller and the controller has a short cord that plugs into the rollercopter (beneath the tail) to charge. On the tail ( next to the charging port) there is a tiny on/off switch for the Rollercopter. After it's charged, unplug cord and turn on both remote control and Rollercopter. The booklet gives instructions to do very cool things with this Rollercopter like having it roll on the ceiling and roll up walls but I was initially skeptical. After about thirty minutes of playing with it, my family and I had it rolling up walls and spinning and rolling on the ceiling like the booklet instructed. Not difficult at all, but it does require some practice and patience. It hovers, bounces, spins and rolls. It crashes down to the floor pretty hard but so far no damage. Plastic construction around Rollercopter seems pliable and flimsy but durable since it has not been damaged by falls. The helicopter inside is very small but the well made. My 8 yr old son thinks it looks like a shark. The tail looks like a blade ( soft plastic). We have the blue one. The chopper blades (two sets) are made of plastic and looks like they could come off with very rough play. The blades will sting your fingers if they get hit by them, so watch little fingers. Rollercopter is attached to rollerball by a thin plastic rod going right through the helicopter and attached to both sides of ball. Helicopter seesaws in the center of the ball. Lots of air when propellers are going. High pitched wheezing noises as the Rollercopter flies. When it's on there is a red light in the belly of the Rollercopter, and there is a slight sound of a bell (for about a second) just as you turn it on. Loads of fun. It's exciting learning new tricks with this toy. It's for ages 8 and up.

The Air Hogs RC Rollercopter is a ton of fun to use. It is durable, and easy to use. However I agree with the ages recommendations of 8+. With the "roll cage" around the helicopter helps protect it from damage when it hits things. Didn't scratch up my walls at all. Easy to charge. However you will need 6 AA batteries. Definite recommend for boys that love helicopters or planes. it is very easy to maneuver. It doesn't not go backwards.
