TCL Alto 8i 2.1ch 260W Dolby Atmos Sound bar with Dual Built-in Subwoofers, Black, TS8111

I was eager to get this soundbar because of the Dolby Atmos but what I was not expecting was how easy it paired with my Roku TV. The TV basically did the setup for me and I was able to use my TV remote. The sound really projects throughout the whole room and almost feels like it is coming from all around you. This is a great addition to my living room and I am more than pleasantly pleased.

It's hard to overstate how much better my TV experience is with this sound bar. I have a big, flat screen TV and I've always loved everything about it... except the sound, and the TCL sound bar is the perfect solution. I chose this model for a couple reasons. I knew I wanted one with a subwoofer for that extra bass, but my space is limited, so this model with the subwoofer built-in checked that box. I was also on a budget. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel like the speakers for your TV should cost more than your TV, and the TCL's balance between performance and price checked the "value" box for me. Finally, my big screen has the Roku TV built-in and this model is designed to work with my TV. The sound bar will work great for any TV, but if you have one with the Roku TV built-in, then this feature is a must, since set up was so easy - just connect the HDMI cable (included!!!) from the sound bar to the TV, plug in the sound bar, and turn on the TV. The TV instantly recognized that the new sound bar was connected and ran through a quick self-setup. Once connected the sound bar is controlled with the TV remote - it turns on and off automatically when you turn the TV on or off , volume up and down, etc. - I literally did not put the batteries in the sound bar remote until day 2 when I wanted to pair it with my phone to stream music. If you are looking for a simple solution with great performance, at a value price, the TCL sound bar is highly recommended.
