Beautiful design but cheap materials

We've always turned to Moen products for the design and reliability. How disappointing to order the 90 degree items for a bathroom renovation and discover they're now plastic in all but the escutcheon and handle. The prices however haven't decreased. I was just told by the Moen rep this has occurred across all products the past couple of years. Highly disappointed and will turn to the more economically priced plastic plumbing at the big orange box. This is a failure Moen!
