Absolutely perfect as a truck driver, super loud, good mic. I use it also with my tv in back so I am not waking up neighboring trucks at truck stop watching movies at night. Really great and I love it. Also don't beleive the bass heads, yes it doesn't have thumping bass but it sounds amazing and not really that much of an issue at all. I use the Sony app on my phone and turn the rqualizer all the way up and it sounds great.
