Better streaming

We replaced a 2 year old modem and 7 month old router with this device. Household has two cell phones, plus guest on occassion, laptop and streaming tv. This device is head and shoulders above previous router which stalled on live streaming events regularly and often. We also removed an extender that we had in the house which is a 1600sq. ft. split level home. Router is on one end of the house, not centrally located and is working great.

Works like it's supposed to

I like it when things are easy to set up and they work behind the scenes quietly without making themselves noticed by being problematic. This is one of those devices. Plugged it in and turned it on. Haven't heard a peep from it since. Just continues to work.

Worth it

Got this to replace an aging modem/router. The performance has been amazing. Great coverage and speeds throughout the entire house now. My old DOCIS 3.0 modem/router consistently would only carry 3-5mbs and had a very limited range. The Nighthawk has blazing fast (700+ Mbps) and I have coverage from the mailbox out front to the fence in the backyard (180')
