I like those speedy oil change service centers, but they're always upselling something. When he showed me my daughter's Nissan Rogue air filter I (internally) agreed with him that it needed changing, but said I'd handle it myself. So, I did. The price at Walmart was right and the fit perfect. A YouTube video showed me the location under the hood and in roughly 7 minutes the deed was done.

So I'm not skilled on car maintenance and prevention but I do know it is important to change your air filters about every 30 000 miles or so. Especially living where I do, we get a lot of dust, dirt, mud, etc., un in your car's whole system. The air filters filter that out but just like a coffee filter, it gets full of the stuff and needs to be changed so it has room to absorb the other stuff. My filter looked awful. Lucky for me, even though this is a GM product, it fit my Chevy perfectly. My ex husband who put it in also has a GM this would fit on. So he probably should change his too. As far as the filter itself goes, there were no flaws and it looked like it should. It fit how it should too. I also like that it was made in the US! I definitely recommend. Great value and it really does change the way your car drives and then you just feel a lot cleaner knowing that your car is filtering the gunk out for better driving capabilities and performance. Dirty filters and air flow can really hinder your car. Now it can run great again.
