Almost like a real, traditional Japanese futon.

As a Japanese, I had my doubts about this product. BUT I love it! You get a futon that almost feels like a real Japanese bedding: firm but with enough cushion. My husband and I are happy that we got rid of our old mattress and we are sleeping much better. I can fold it up and sanitize it in the sun too, just like a real futon! We are considering to get another one for an extra layer of cushion. We have hard wood flooring so that extra cushion might provide better warmth and comfort during the winter months.
