Great alternative to mounting my televison on my fireplace!
This was super simple to install...only took a few hours. Because the plate to mount this is so wide we did 'beef up' the area where we hung it from (from inside the attic). It was super simple to get adjusted to the perfect angle. Everyone that comes over comments on it...more impressively you can barely tell it's a ceiling mount! I would definitely get this if you want to mount your TV over your fireplace but don't want to mess with the brick!

Perfect for our needs!
This was an awesome mounting bracket for us to hang our 50 inch TV! We live in an older home with the original fireplace, and didn't have many viewing options to place the TV. We did not want to drill into the chimney stack, so by placing the bracket into the ceiling but allowing it to still hang in front of the fireplace solved all of our issues. My husband had to get help to install so that someone could hold the bracket while he installed it. And it swivels! No complaints.

Great price
I used this mount for a built in tv. I had a 72 inch projection tv before. The wall mount bracket that would have reached out far enough was at least 5 times as much. It has a little bit too much tilt because I am not using it as intended. It doesn't effect the viewing of the tv. It is easy to get behind because of the swivel. It works great and was a great price.
