Attractive, Versatile Tray

This is a nice-looking tray that you can use for many purposes. I like using melamine trays to elevate otherwise utilitarian areas like my cat's feeding bowls, where a pretty tray is a practical way to contain the mess. This white Better Homes tray is really nice!! It seems much bigger than I expected, and yes, I read the dimensions, but it still surprised me. This sits on my kitchen counter and easily holds a ceramic coffee urn, a metal pail with utensils, kitchen dishcloths and a spoon rest--with room to spare! You could use this to set up a seasonal display with flowers, candles, and so on, or use it to serve a meal. It would easily hold a plate, glassware, and condiments. The marble design is attractive, and the pure white color goes with any decor. It's attractive enough to use as a platter for serving small dishes during a dinner or party. Excellent quality, really solid melamine. All in all, this is a great serving tray that you will find many uses for.

Very nice, attractive product

I recently received the Better Homes & Garden's Melamine Marble Tray from Walmart as part of their Sparkreviewer program in exchange for my honest review of the product. The product was appealing looking in photos and arrived packaged securely in a box with bubble wrap without damage. I use these types of trays a lot, especially when entertaining but this tray is definitely a step up from the trays that I have at home. First, the tray is very attractive. It is predominately white with a grey marble pattern running through it and it has a very nice shine to it. It truly does have the appearance of being ceramic instead of plastic. The tray is large and rectangle shaped and has nice, large handles on each end, which make it easy to carry. I've posted a picture with a coffee cup on the tray so you can get an estimate of the size. The four sides of the tray angle up about 2 inches to help to prevent things from falling off. The manufacturer states that the product is made of melamine and that it is BPA-free as well as being dishwasher friendly (on the top shelf of your dishwasher only). I like this tray very much and would recommend it to others.
