I had previously owned the Karcher follow- me pressure washer which I why I chose the K1. I found this model more suited for my primary needs of washing cars. I liked the size and especially the grab handle. It was similar to moving a backpack around- light and easy. With the K1, the pressure was less powerful but more than adequate to get the job done. When done, it's much smaller and easier to store.

I borrowed this model from a neighbour after my clunky gas powered washer died. It was so lightweight and easy to use that I bouht myself my own. The day it arrived I snapped it together and used it immediately fo excellent results. It is so lightweight and easy to use. I love this. It is small and easy to store as well.

I have only used this product once. However, it is almost identical to the one that I bought on 5/17/2009 (K 2.28). It lasted 27 years! I looked at some other brands, but Karcher has always had an excellent name in power washers.
