MY KIDS LOVE IT!

MY KIDS LOVE IT AND SO DO I. IT IS EDUCATIONAL AND REMINDS ME OF MY CHILDHOOD. MY 5 & 6 YEAR OLDS HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT GRAMMAR AND THEY LOVE TO SING THOSE CATCHY TUNES!

a little disappointed

I loved schoolhouse rock as a kid and still enjoy hearing them, so was excited to download them for my 4 yr old. But was a little disappointed to find that the video runs all the songs consecutively; you can't select and watch one specifically. So he rarely will watch all the way through when he gets to one he likes less than the others. Would have been nice to have a forward stop button at each video.

Could be BRILLIANT with a little modification

OK, I grew up with these School House Rock shorts. I can still sing the Constitution's preamble because of these. That is what makes them BRILLIANT, they are short, catchy and sweet. So the content for this video is fabulous. But Leapfrog messed it up big time!! This is one LONG 30 minute video that combines ALL of the Grammer Rock sections. Most 4-8 year olds will be bored by the second song! My nearly 6 year old was bored because they start with adjectives then adverbs. Why not nouns, and verbs as they are simpler. I'll rephrase that issue to be sure it is clear, you CANNOT select each short, catchy, and sweet song song alone. You have to watch the whold thing or randomly forward through the video to find each song not knowing where they are unless you memorize what time the ones you want start. IF Leapfrog had made this app be able to select each INDIVIDUAL song through a simple menu that would have earned top stars all around!! So please Leapfrog I hope you read this and upgrade the app and allow those who have purchased this to upgrade as well. All it needs is a basic menu to select each grammer segment individually.
