I noticed right away the pieces were well packed, the hardware was labeled in individual packets and the assembly instructions were excellent. I looked on the box to see where the chairs were manufactured and it was Vietnam. What a difference from the usual substandard quality we usually get. The chair seats are a little narrow if you carry extra pounds but my husband and I found them to be very comfortable.
