The music on this project depicts songs sang back in the day and tweeked with a little contemporary blend. The mood was for the audience to reflect on some of the oldies but goodies songs that mama, grandma, family, some of the saints and the church used to sing. The inspiration for this project was prompted by my deceased mother, Aserlee Virginia Peyton Tavorn, and the MidSouth Singers that raised my siblings and me to travel and sing quartet music. I regret that she was not here for the actual recording and thus wanted to feature and sing a song that she led with the group. Some of the remaining members from the group are also performing on this project. As a record label, I endeavored to record some of the saints that have been singing for years and never recorded. Of course my sisters and cousin were also featured along with various new artists. This is the first of many projects that will come through this label to leave a legacy of anointed gospel music when the artists are no longer here. Music is a universal language that everyone can enjoy and appreciate. I want to cease the moment while I can because the music will live on and on and on.
