Electrical cords are very noticeable

we bought 3 of these Kichler pendant lights to hang over our large kitchen island (our roof is about 15 feet tall in the center). Please notice in the pictures that the electrical cord and hanging wire are NOT covered, so it looks a bit "unfinished" especially when the length from ceiling to light fixture is a good 5-6 feet. The pictures of the product on the Lamps Plus web site do show this, but we did not really think about how it would look with so much exposed wiring. My fix was to buy 25 feet of 1/4 inch black mesh wire covering (used for speaker and PC cables) and it looks much better (friends have verified in our conversations).
