I had somewhat low expectations, but this rug delivers! it is somewhat cushioned with a thin layer of what feels like memory foam. The color was bright and lovely. The material itself is the softest material... like a giant soft stuffed animal! The size was accurate. The only caution I can give is that you can't throw it in the wash. Definitely worth the price!
