I needed a desk that could support all my storage needs. Additionally, I needed it for one room and knew I would need to move it into a different room in a few months, so I liked that it was reversible. I liked that I could get the monitors up and it would get me more workspace. I knew I preferred the idea of the larger 59in workspace over less expensive and smaller desks. This desk meets all my needs! I ordered the black one, not realizing there was a wood grain one and a modern style. I got the modern one and feel just a little bit cooler. I really like the larger size; it makes a huge difference when I need to spread things out. I love having all the extra space under my monitors and then again, under my monitors shelf. I love the shelves under the desk; they fit my needs exactly. I also like the extra power strip and multicolor lights that can either be set to one color or keep changing. I will say though that they do not provide as much light under the desk as the picture makes it seem, not even the whitish/yellow light. My only wish is that since I don't think there are a lot of people that still use CPUs, it seems like waisted space to have a built-in stand for one. My trashcan is sitting on mine. I wish there had been an optional shelf that could have been installed right there. Also, it says the smaller, standalone shelf below the drawer was adjustable, and it might be, but it didn't mention that in the directions, so I just followed them, not realizing I had an option to adjust the height, not that I would have wanted to. The directions were very clear; the items were all there and clearly labeled. I only found one thing, the installation of the X bar in the back of the desk, was not included in the directions, but when I realized that, it was not too late to add it on still, so it wasn't a problem. Sometimes the direction illustrations were confusing, and I did put two tables on backwards, but a few unscrewing's made for an easy fix. My 14 yr old and I put this together in 2.5 hrs. I love it. Very happy with it. And knew I would never attach pictures if I waited for it to be clean, so sorry for the mess, hope you can see what you need to! By the way, I ended up setting the desk the way I needed it in a few months, instead of now, and I don't think it is overly massive so it still blends it very well with everything, and now I don't have to go through reversing it later...

its honestly not the worst desk in the world. its very usable. however, if you select the different type of desk and in the measurements, its actually false. the desk is exactly 60 inches long, so if you have a big gaming chair, just prepare for very little room. other than that, easy assemble.
