Great product, BUT must dispose of 1st 8" of tape

I was frustrated at first, trying to use this item. Then I found this web page, read some reviews and realized that you MUST dispose of the first eight inches of protective wrap before attempting to use. This is info that really should be printed somewhere on the packaging. If not for this, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.

Backing Instructions NOT clear!

Please put instructions on package that first few inches are not double sided. There are 3 lines of instructions -not in English- that probably DO say that. Product works, but this needs to be on the cardboard package!!! Wasted time trying to peel off.

Overly Complicated for Such a Simple Product

After spending several minutes trying to get the backing off, I Googled to see if there was some secret. Thankfully I found this page of reviews, and found out there is an 8” section at the beginning that has a bonded rubber cover, and requires you to pull the tape out 8” before you get to the double sided part. Why this is not mentioned on the packaging and instructions is beyond me. Once you figure this part out, then it works fine.
