Yes, they are made of real solid wood. The wood type is paulownia wood. Paulownia wood has the following characteristics; fine grain, smooth texture, lightweight, durable structure, moisture, and heat resistance.
What type of finish is on the wood?

Solid wood is torched to add a burnt finish. Then, it is lightly sanded and the final varnish coat is applied for a fine smooth finish.
Do you provide the hardware and installation manuals?

Yes, we include the necessary anchors and screws to mount the product on the wall. Also, the installation manual is included in the package.
Can I paint or re-stain the wooden board?

There is already a burnt finish with the final coat of varnish on the board. If you want to paint or re-stain, we suggest removing the existing finish first by sanding the wooden board.
Are they stud-friendly?

Yes, the brackets can be positioned and mounted directly on studs with the included wall screws to reach the maximum load capacity.
