I ordered the 6” mattress for my son's loft bed. I opened this mattress around midnight and in 2.5 hours it had risen to about 4 or 5 inches (seen in the picture). By morning it was at 6 inches but I left untouched until 24 hours had passed. I didn't notice a big smell as some of the reviews said. The mattress is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend!
