Assembly of the mattress support system was tedious. Furthermore, the rubber stoppers that hold the bars in the slots come out a couple at a time regularly. You have to slide yourself under the bed to re-insert them. My rating is given as compared with two antique beds I have owned which I could assemble in 5 minutes.
