An effective way to buy time to get to a doctor

I have used this product for years every time I feel that a UTI might be developing. Unlike other UTI products, it contains 162 mg of methenamine and 162.5 mg of sodium salicylate. Sodium salicylate is an NSAID pain reliever, and methenamine passes through the body and is converted into formaldehyde in the presence of acidic urine. This formaldehyde acts as a bacterial agent, that kills or inhibits the bacteria that cause Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs). This is by no means a substitute for a visit to the doctor or antibiotics, but it does slow the infection down and will ease the burning sensation until you can get medical care.

ladies, tired of urinating yellow pee when dealing with Bladder Spasms from say UTI's ? Tired of staining toliet, and underwear, other items just to get relief from bladder spasms? Try this product, it is the only brand guaranteed not to turn your urine yellow, but is sure to work on improving Bladder Spasms , which can be very painful for some. Good job Cystex, your listening to woman who are tired of that yellow stain from U.T.I's in their urine, and the staining of under clothes and much more.

Cystex over Azo

I have personally found this to be far better than Azo for my UTI symptoms and my urologist approved my use of Cystex semi-regularly as I suffer from frequent urinary tract issues. And Cystex does not discolor your urine so no staining of underwear or clothing. I just always caution you to talk to your specialist or doctor about taking any medicine - whether RX or OTC or even homeopathic - because no matter how something may help one person does not mean it will automatically cure your life
