Instructions
DO NOT over-insert the nosepiece into the nose. Do not apply excessive force. DO NOT use tubing or nosepiece with any other pump or vacuum. DO NOT suck or blow into tubing to aspirate fluid. If using saline or nasal spray to soften mucus, allow sufficient time to absorb prior to suctioning. 1.Place your index and middle fingers into the finger grip of the nosepiece. Allow the tubing to drape over the back of your hand. 2.Stabilize your child’s head with your remaining fingers and other hand if necessary. 3.Start nasal suctioning on low power by pressing the power button once. Press the power button again for medium power and once more for high power. Use higher suction levels based on the thickness and amount of mucus. A fourth button press will turn the product off. NOTE: SUCTION LEVEL IS INDICATED BY THE 3 LIGHTS ON TOP OF THE PUMP HOUSING. 4.Gently press tip of nosepiece into child’s nostril to create a seal. Suction will aspirate mucus. 5.Repeat for the other nostril if necessary. CAUTION: IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECT THE TUBING FROM THE MAIN UNIT HOUSING IF MUCUS OR FLUID ENTERS THE TUBING. THIS COULD DAMAGE THE PUMP WITHIN THE HOUSING. IF THIS OCCURS, CLEAN AND DRY THE TUBING PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ON PAGE 9 BEFORE CONTINUING PRODUCT USAGE. 6.Turn the product off after mucus has aspirated. 7.Dispose of the filter and clean components thoroughly before storage. 8.Ensure the product is dry before charging or storage. NOTE: IF NOT USING ON A CHILD, GRIP THE NOSEPIECE AS DESIRED AND POSITION THE TIP COMFORTABLY INSIDE THE NOSTRIL TO CREATE A SEAL.

Must have for winter newborns.
My 5 week old caught RSV and we were in the hospital for 7 days. When we got out I wanted to make sure we have an aspirator that would get the gunk out and keep him out of the hospital. He's gotten congested a few times with another cold too but we were able to clear him with the aspirator and chest/back percussions.
