MOES6030LZ 30 Inch Single Convection Self Clean Oven

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this model to replace a (roughly) 20 year old Maytag wall oven. The original unit had both door hinges broken. We really appreciate that this model has 'true' convection. The older model had a convection setting but we found it did not cook evenly front-to-back. Unfortunately, the new unit power connection was equipped with flex and wiring designed for a hard-wired connection. I installed a receptacle for the original unit for ease of installation/removal. I was able to remove the cable and plug from the old unit and replace the flex connection on the new one. My problem was the power wire inside the flex and then inside the oven was only #14 AWG! A bit on the small side. The old cable connection was #10 AWG -much better suited to a 30 amp feed circuit. I'm still concerned with the #14 factory wiring inside the oven.
