Beautiful rug but…

This rug is really beautiful and I waited a couple of months for a sale to purchase because of the higher price point for an online rug. The quality seems nice and it is very soft. The “gray” is definitely more of a blue and I would say the photos on the product page are pretty accurate. This works well for my space so I took the chance but if you're really looking for gray, it's not. The negatives- this rug arrived with carpet beetles. Several were dead but at least one was alive so I spent hours vacuuming to ensure they were gone. I waited a few weeks to review to make sure there wasn't an infestation but this was really disappointing. I've ordered several rugs from Boutique Rugs and have always been happy with my purchase or their customer service if I needed a change. This was really disappointing especially considering the price point. Second, we have a puppy and this rug does not respond to cleaning even with gentle products like woolite. Every single spot looks like it was bleached. Definitely would recommend for homes with pets.
