I bought the king size and it didn't fit my box and mattress. I'm using a box because I like my bed to be high, since this frame is low. The Headboard is not the highest and my pillows can cover it. MAKE SURE YOU MEASURED YOUR MATTRESS AND BOX IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE ONE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS ITEM. IF I HAD THE MONEY NOW I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ITEM WITH A HIGHER HEADBOARD AND THAT FITS MY MATTRESS AND BOX. OVERALL IT'S DECENT, NICE AND SIMPLE.
